Season’s greetings, Microsoft 365 professionals!

Jonas here from EasyEntra. As we wrap up 2025, I wanted to share what we’ve been building during this final quarter. It’s been an incredible year of growth, innovation, and most importantly, helping IT teams like yours simplify Microsoft 365 management.

Christmas is just around the corner, and while you’re probably thinking about holiday schedules and year-end projects, we’ve been busy delivering some exciting new capabilities that I think you’ll love.

What’s in this update:

    • New features: Virtual User Templates, Full Loading Mode, Bitlocker & LAPS integration
    • Upcoming features for Q1 2026
    • Entra.News review of EasyEntra
    • Partner spotlight: The story of All Covered
    • Meet us at Experts Live Denmark 2026

New Features This Quarter

Every feature we build comes from a real conversation with IT teams. Here is what we delivered in Q4:

🎄Our Biggest Feature Yet: Virtual User Templates

An enterprise helpdesk manager recently told me:

“My team creates 15-20 users per week. Every admin does it differently. We have a 27-step checklist, but somehow every user still looks different.”

This is exactly why we built Virtual User Templates.

Define each role once – Sales, HR, Finance, IT, Contractors – every role has its own template with the correct title, department, manager, address, groups, distribution lists, licenses, attributes, mailbox settings etc.

Templates removes personal variation and makes user onboarding fast, consistent and completely predictable.

No more variations.
No missing settings.
No follow up tickets.

Same process, same results, every time.

Watch me discuss this awesome feature with our lead developer, Morten:

🎄Full Loading Mode

We believe this one is a little masterpiece.
Microsoft’s portals only return 100 search results at a time in an endless-scroll view, which makes it hard to get a complete overview. Anything more detailed usually ends with exporting to CSV and filtering in PowerShell.

With Full Loading Mode, EasyEntra loads all objects and all attributes into memory and makes them instantly searchable.

Find users in the Sales department in Texas with E5 licenses, find cloud-only accounts where department contains “dev”, list users with country set to Netherlands and are disabled etc.
You can learn how to use and enable Full Loading Mode here.

🎄Bitlocker & LAPS integration

You can now search for BitLocker recovery keys just by typing the first few digits, instead of working through the full 32-character string. EasyEntra finds the correct key instantly, shows you the matching device, and lets you confirm the owner before sharing it.
Search, find the device, confirm. Done.
We’ve put together a short guide here.

You can also look up a device and retrieve its LAPS password in seconds. No switching between consoles. Just search the machine, open the LAPS tab, and everything you need is right there, including password history and expiry. See our guide here.

What’s Coming in Q1 2026

We’re not slowing down as we head into the new year. Here’s what we’re actively developing based on your feedback:

⭐️ PowerShell for Virtual User Templates

We are enabling PowerShell for Virtual User Templates, allowing you to automate custom LOB app steps in the onboarding flow and integrate user creation with external systems (e.g. HR apps).

⭐️ OneDrive in Offboarding

We are adding OneDrive support to the offboarding flow. When a user leaves, you can control how OneDrive data is handled directly from EasyEntra, avoiding the manual steps and delays in the Microsoft portals.

⭐️ Mailbox Folder Permissions

We are also adding support for delegation on the most common mailbox folders, including Inbox, Sent Items, Contacts etc. What normally requires PowerShell can soon be done directly in EasyEntra. You will be able to delegate access to these folders in seconds, right from the interface.

Partner Spotlight: All Covered

“Easy365Manager and EasyEntra eliminate the need for on-premises Exchange servers, logging into the M365 admin portals, or using additional automation via PowerShell.”

– Deany “Doc” Cheramie, PhD, Sr. Professional Services Engineer, All Covered

All Covered discovered Easy365Manager when searching for a way to manage Microsoft 365 in hybrid environments without maintaining on-premises Exchange servers.
