Use case: Use this procedure to manage a user’s authentication methods and multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings. This includes resetting MFA registration, issuing a Temporary Access Pass, and adding or updating authentication methods to maintain secure account access.
To configure authentication methods and MFA, follow these steps:
- Open User Properties, select the Account tab, and click Authentication Methods.
- In Authentication Methods, you can:
- Reset MFA (require MFA re-registration).
- Create a new Temporary Access Pass to accommodate the initial user login.
- View, add, modify, or remove existing authentication methods.
Authentication method management is only available to users who are members of the Authentication Administrator role.
