Use case: Use this procedure to enable or disable litigation hold on a mailbox. Litigation hold preserves all mailbox content – including deleted items and edited messages – to meet legal or compliance requirements.
To configure litigation hold, do the following:
- Open User properties, select the Mailbox tab, and click Mailbox Storage.
- Select or deselect Enable mailbox litigation hold.
- Click OK twice to apply the settings.
