Use case: Use this procedure to set the language in Outlook and Outlook Web Access (OWA) and to localize default folder names. This is useful when users prefer working in their native language, such as German, French, or Spanish.
To configure mailbox regional settings or mailbox folder localization, do the following:
- Open the user’s properties and select the Mailbox tab.
- To configure Outlook file menu items, select the desired language from the Regional Settings and click OK.
- The user must restart their Outlook session for the new settings to take effect.
- To configure Outlook folder localization, select the Localize default folders checkbox and click OK.
- The folder localization happens immediately.
