Use case: Use this procedure to export a mailbox to a PST file for backup, migration, archiving, or offline access. A PST (Personal Storage Table) file is the file format used by Microsoft Outlook.
Note: EasyEntra PST export only exports emails. Other mailbox items, like contacts and calendar events are not exported. Always verify the contents of the .pst file after export.
To export a mailbox to PST, do the following:
- Open User Properties, select the Mailbox tab, and then click Mailbox Storage.
- Click Export to open the PST Export UI.
- Specify the output path or use the default path.
- Specify the start and end dates for the emails you want to export, or leave the fields empty to export all emails.
- Click Start.
- Full Access permissions to the mailbox are required. If the permissions are missing, a pop-up dialog appears. Click Assign to proceed with the export.
- When the export is complete, click Close and then Cancel to close the Mailbox Storage UI.
