Use case: Use this procedure to locate the distinguished name (DN) of a user account in Active Directory. The distinguished name uniquely identifies the user’s position within the directory hierarchy.
To find the distinguished name of a user, follow these steps:
- Double-click the user to open user properties, and select the Account tab.
- Find the Distinguished Name field.
- Click Cancel.
