Use case: Use this procedure to manage multiple Entra ID tenants within a single EasyEntra console. By adding and authenticating multiple tenants, you can administer users, licenses, and mailboxes across environments – all from one unified interface.
To manage multiple tenants in a single console, start by setting up the necessary connections in EasyEntra.
Follow these steps:
How to Add Entra ID Connections in EasyEntra
- Open the Entra ID Connection Manager by clicking the Connection Manager tab on the left panel and choosing Entra ID.
- Click ‘Add‘ to Add new Entra ID connection(s), which will open the ‘Add Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Connection‘ wizard.
- Complete the wizards steps
- Step one: Tenant
- Specify the type of tenant (‘Primary Tenant,’ ‘Delegated Tenants,’ ‘Partner Tenants’) you want to connect to in the drop-down menu and click Next.
- Step two: Classification
- Specify the Cloud Classification you’re working in by selecting from the drop-down menu (‘Standard Commercial Cloud,’ ‘US Government (GCC),’ ‘US Government High (GCC High),’).
- Step three: Authentications
- Authenticate the tenant
- Authenticate the tenant with MS Graph by clicking the button with an arrow and performing Microsoft log-in as usual.
- Authenticate the tenant with EXO by clicking the button with an arrow and performing Microsoft log-in as usual.
- Note: You must authenticate with both entities for EasyEntra to let you manage Entra ID users, Microsoft 365 licenses, and Exchange Online mailboxes.
- Authenticate the tenant
- Step four: Click Finish
- Step one: Tenant
- To add another tenant, repeat step 1-4.
Managing Your Tenants
Once added via the Connection Manager, the tenants will appear stacked in the Entra ID object browser.
You can now administer all added tenants from the same user interface.
