Use case: Use this procedure to reset a user’s password in Active Directory – for example, when a user forgets their password or their account needs to be secured after a lockout or compromise.
To reset the password for an AD user, do the following:
- Select the AD account for which you want to reset the password.
- Right-click the user and select Reset Password.
- Click OK.
The password generator is adaptive and will suggest a password of the same length as the last password you configured.
You can also perform a password reset from the Account tab in User Properties.
