Use case: Use this procedure to view the object GUID of a user account. The object GUID is a unique identifier assigned to each object in Active Directory and is often required for troubleshooting, scripting, or directory synchronization tasks.
To view the object GUID of a user, do the following:
- Double-click the user to open User properties, and select the Account tab.
- Locate the Object GUID field.
- Click Cancel to close the window.
